WELLGUARD 1584D corrosion inhibitor is comprised of aromatic imidazolines.
* Applications:
WELLGUARD 1584D corrosion inhibitor is an oil-soluble blend used to control corrosion and fouling in gas plants, refineries, transportation lines, and barges. It is also effective as an atmospheric corrosion inhibitor. It controls corrosion and fouling caused by hydrogen sulfide, hydrochloric acid, carbon dioxide, organic acids and small amounts of oxygen. This blend is recommended where the water content of the stream is 150 ppm or less. WELLGUARD 1584D corrosion inhibitor is typically dosed at 6 - 9 ppm. This translates to approximately 1 1 ⁄
2 quarts per 1000 barrels. WELLGUARD 1584D corrosion inhibitor has excellent thermal and oxidative stability, but not hydrolytic. |
