BNX 3114 is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. BNX 3114 exhibits excellent heat stability and antioxidation, with good compatibility in organic substrates such as linear polyesters, polyethylene, polypropylene, and styrenics. BNX 3114 is a highly effective, non-discoloring stabilizer with excellent extraction resistance and low volatility. BNX 3114 is a highly effective phenolic antioxidant that can be used in polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene-1 as well as other polymers, such as crystal polystyrene, high impact polystyrene, ABS and SBS. It may also be used in linear polyester, PVC, polyamides, polyurethanes, elastomers such as EPR and EPDM as well as other synthetic rubbers, adhesives, natural and synthetic tackifier resins and other organic substrates. This product can be used synergistically in combination with other additives such as secondary antioxidants(Benefos 1680) and light stabilizers. Specific applications include: appliances, automotive, construction and pipes, extrusion, fibers and fabrics, molding, packaging, recreational, and thermoforming. |
