1722 Napthol Red 22 |
|
A barium free yellow shade red frequently used as a replacement for Red Lake C (53:1) where more lightfastness and alkali resistance is required. 1722 is used mainly in printing inks for alkali resistance and because it is barium free. It is used in water flexo and solvent inks. It is more lightfast than Pigment Red 2. This pigment is not recommended for plastics. |
