Antimony Trioxide
TruTint 50 is a is an antimony trioxide grade that has been specifically designed to give formulators greater control over the tint properties of their formulations.
Trutint 50 is designed for use in polymer systems where color strength is important or opacity needs to be controlled. This is especially important in plasticized PVC, film and sheeting, automotive applications, upholstery and wall coverings. Trutint 50 imparts flame retardancy equivalent to other TMS grades of antimony trioxide. The low surface area of Trutint 50 provides excellent performance in viscosity sensitive applications.
The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, wellventilated area away from incompatible materials. Unless stated, proper storage will permit usage of the product for 6 to 12 months from the date of receipt. For additional handling and toxicological information, consult the GLCC Material Safety Data Sheet.
