| Permalease 650 |

Permalease 650 is a semi-permanent release coating especially formulated for compression molding natural and synthetic rubber. It is easy to apply and cures quickly to a non-transferring coating that will not interfere with post finishing of the molded part. The Permalease 650 coating is effective at molding temperatures in excess of 750'F (371'C) without degradation. Permalease 650 is also an excellent mold transfer sealer for metal and composite molds.
* Application:
1. Mold temperatures and work area should be above 68'F (20'C) for best application of Permalease 650 Release Coating. The mold surface should be thoroughly cleaned with Permalease
MC mold cleaner prior to applying Permalease 650. This will eliminate any oils, grease, wax, and other release agents that may interfere with Permalease 650.
2. Heat molds to operating temperature.
3. Apply three light coats of Permalease 650 with air assisted spray equipment.
4. After mold has been through the first five cycles in production, apply an additional coat of Permalease 650.
5. Touch up with Permalease 650 as needed. |
