Bactericides And Fungicides.
This product is used in the prevention of fungi action for all kinds of pickled, chromed, veg tanned, and even dyed/retanned/fatliquored leathers.
Should be used 0.03 - 0.05 % on pelt or shaved weight.
It is strongly advised to be added right before the basification during chrome tanning.
BT-3 should be well diluted with 35-40'C water at a ratio of 1/5 - 1/10 before adding to the baths.
The drum should be run at least one hour for the right effect.
It is very stable to the electrolytes and very efficient especially at acidic and neutral pH conditions.
