BASE 7800 is our premium, sulfonate-soap emulsifier BASE used for the production of soluble oils and emulsion cleaners.
BASE 7800 has excellent hard water tolerance and provides outstanding rust protection.
Soluble oils produced with BASE 7800 yield outstanding stability and wetting.
BASE 7800 is used in combination with naphthenic mineral oils to produce soluble oils.
BASE 7800 is typically employed at a level of 15 ?22%.
The balance of the product will be determined by the end users requirements.
Soluble oil components will include naphthenic mineral oil, and may include lubricity additives, extreme pressure agents and biocides.
An addition of an alkalinity source (amine or caustic) or a fatty acid may be necessary to insure a product with optimum concentrate and emulsion stability.
