Sulfonate-Soap |
|
BASE 75 is a sodium sulfonate-high soap emulsifier base used for the production of soluble oils and emulsion cleaners. Soluble oils produced with BASE 75 yield outstanding stability and wetting properties. BASE 75 is used in combination with naphthenic mineral oils to produce soluble oils. BASE 75 is typically employed at a level of 15 ?22%. The balance of the product will be determined by the end users requirements. Soluble oil components will include naphthenic mineral oil, and may include lubricity additives, extreme pressure agents and biocides. An addition of an alkalinity source (amine or caustic) or a fatty acid may be necessary to insure a product with optimum concentrate and emulsion stability. Ferro’s technical representatives are available to provide formulating assistance. |
