F-3516 |
|
End Capped Brominated Epoxy |
|
F-3516 is a brominated epoxy partially end capped with tribromophenol. It is a flame retardent additive recommended for use in styrenic copolymers (HIPS, ABS).
F-3516 has high FR efficiency combined with good processability in both extrusion and injection molding processes. A particular advantage is freedom from metal adhesion problems during lengthy injection molding operations.
The specially selected chemical structure of F-3516 offers the following advantages: - High UV stability. - High thermal stability. - Excellent flow properties. - Non blooming.
The end capped structure of F-3516 avoids problems of adhesion during injection molding while the brominated epoxy structure provides high UV stability. |
