Surlyn 8150 thermoplastic resin is an advanced ethylene/methacrylic acid (E/MAA) copolymer, in which the MAA acid groups have been partially neutralized with sodium ions.
The high MAA content and mid-range neutralization level for this grade creates an exceptional combination of strengths: toughness, low-temperature toughness, abrasion resistance, tear resistance, excellent clarity, and high stiffness compared with other grades of Surlyn(R).
The resin is highly suitable for injection molding, providing enhanced processability over other grades. |
