Dyneon THV 415 |
|
THV 415 is a flexible, transparent fluoroplastic composed of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, and vinylidene fluoride in the form of pellets or agglomerate. It provides a balance of low temperature processing, low flammability, thermal stability, and melt processability. It can be used to prepare molded parts and extruded films, tubes, profiles, and wire coatings. THV 415 is useful for applications that require flexibility, low temperature processing, and good chemical resistance. Due to its low processing temperature and its good thermal stability, corrosion resistant processing equipment is normally not required. It has properties similar to THV 500, but with a slightly lower melting point. The lower melting point provides more complete and uniform fusing of THV 415 to itself and other substrates under autoclave temperature conditions used for elastomer curing. |
