Sil-A-Gon is a solvent that was developed for removal of silicone oils and uncured silicone polymers from molds, molded parts, and processing equipment. Sil-A-Gon is especially effective for removal of silicone release agents where a subsequent processing operation, such as printing or painting, may be hindered by the presence of silicone. Testing completed using a spectrophotometer indicated that Sil-A-Gon will remove all traces of silicone material from a surface. |
