Dynasolve 218 is a non-flammable version of Dynasolve products 220, 225 and 230. Dynasolve 218, with a flash point above 144oF, was developed for situations in which the use of a flammable product would be unacceptable. Although Dynasolve 218 is slower acting than Dynasolve products 220, 225 and 230, its higher flash point allows it to be heated to speed up the solvating action. Dynasolve 218 is also recommended in cases where Dynasolve 210 cannot be used. Dynasolve 218, when not contaminated by water, will not attack acrylic, metal, or metal components with the exception of aluminum, which may be etched after extended immersion. Contamination of Dynasolve 218 with water will result in the formation of acids that can attack most metals and other substrates. |
