TORQ-TRIM 22, a blend of emulsifiers and alkaline surfactants, is fully dispersible in water. It imparts lubricity to most water-based drilling fluids at low concentrations (1.5-4 percent v/v).
TORQ-TRIM 22 has been extensively tested and evaluated by most oil company's research laboratories and has been proven to be one of the most effective lubricant available.
It reduces torque and it is an excellent metal to metal friction reducer which minimizes casing wear.
*Applications/Functions: Lower drilling torque by improving the lubricity of most water-based fluids, Reduce metal to metal friction which helps protect casing in deviated holes, Provide a slick filter cake and reduces the risk of differential sticking when used as a pretreatment
