THERMA-THIN DP, sodium polyacrylate powder, is used in water-based systems to control rheological properties and to impart high temperature stability.
THERMATHIN DP is particularly efficient in fresh water systems with low to medium solids concentrations.
THERMA-THIN DP, when used alone or with lignosulfonates, provides cost-effective high performance systems.
It is especially effective when used with THERMA-CHEK filtration control agent to formulate the THERMA-DRIL high temperature water-based system.
*Applications/Functions: Deflocculate most water-based systems, Impart stability to fluids at temperatures up to 400'F(205'C), Reduce shear strength development at high temperatures
*Advantages: Effective in the presence of salt and divalent ions, Environmentally acceptable, Compatible with other common mud additives, Thermally stable at temperatures above 400'F(205'C). |
