STARCIDE, a microbiocide solution, is used to control bacteria growth in water-based drilling fluids.
STARCIDE is recommended for use with systems containing polymers that are readily biodegradable (i.e. starches, biogums, etc.).
*Applications/Functions: Prevent spoilage of organic colloids, Control sulfate reducing bacteria
*Advantages: Environmentally responsible, Effective in small concentrations, Compatible with most water-based drilling fluids, Completely miscible in water |
