PHASE II, a blend of anionic surfactants, is specially formulated to release differentially stuck pipe. PHASE II utilizes environmentally acceptable surfactants, solvents, lubricants, and viscosifiers that promote the release of differentially stuck pipe. A soak solution of PHASE II is easily prepared for spotting at the wellsite since only barite needs to be added to reach the desired density. *Applications/Functions: Release stuck pipe, Provide initial spurt fluid loss to allow solvent penetration *Advantages: Meets environmentally safe water-based spotting fluid additive requirements, Provides adequate suspension characteristics to prevent barite settling in the stuck zone |
