BXR-L is sulfonated asphalt and hydrocarbon resin (asphaltite) dispersed in glycerol, polyglycerols, and polypropylene glycol. BXR-L is a blended hydrocarbon suspension used as a shale stabilizer, lubricity modifier, and fluid loss additive.
