BXR
BXR is a blend of sulfonated asphalt and a hydrocarbon resin (asphaltite) that plugs filter cakes and formation microfractures.
BXR can be used as a shale stabilizer, lubricity modifier, and fluid loss additive in water-based drilling fluids.
*Applications/Functions: Improve fluid loss characteristics, Bridge microfractures and permeable zones, Reduce differential sticking tendencies and torque/drag, Stabilize wellbores.
