BARO-SPOT, a blend of anionic surfactants, is specially formulated to release differentially stuck pipe.
BARO-SPOT utilizes environmentally acceptable surfactants, solvents, lubricants and viscosifiers that promote releasing of differentially stuck pipe.
A soak solution of BARO-SPOT is easily prepared for spotting at the wellsite since only barite needs to be added to reach the desired density.
*Applications/Functions: Release stuck pipe, Provide initial spurt fluid loss to allow solvent penetration
*Advantages: Meets environmentally safe water-based spotting fluid additive requirements, Provides adequate suspension characteristics to prevent barite settling in the stuck zone, Is compatible with most water-based drilling fluids |
