BARO-SEAL, a combination of granules, flakes, and fibers, can be used with most water-based drilling fluids in a wide range of formations to seal loss zones.
The particles are tough and retain their shape under pressure and temperature.
BARO-SEAL is specifically designed not to plug drilling equipment. It is available in coarse, medium, and fine grades.
*Applications/Functions: Seal permeable zones, Reduce loss of whole mud
*Advantages: Mixes easily with standard rig equipment and can be pumped with the rig pumps, Can be used with most water-based fluids, Will not plug conventional drilling equipment |
