BARARESIN is an oil-soluble, petroleum hydrocarbon resin used instead of calcium carbonate or salt for temporarily sealing acid or water sensitive payzones. BARARESIN is available in four grades: Fine, Medium, Coarse, and Granule. Particle sizes of the four grades are shown below. *Applications/Functions: - BARARESIN Fine may be used instead of clays to provide wall cake buildup in brine based fluids. - BARARESIN Fine, Medium, Coarse, and Granule may be used as oil soluble bridging agents to prevent loss of fluid to the payzone. *Advantages: Completely oil-soluble in most crude oils, condensates, or diesel oils, Minimizes seepage loss into the payzone, Chemically inert, Non-hazardous. |
