BARA-DEFOAM 1, a blend of high molecular weight alcohol and modified fatty acid derivatives, can be used to reduce or remove surface foam in fresh water and sea water drilling fluids and in viscosified brines.
*Applications/Functions: BARA-DEFOAM 1 can be used to eliminate foam from water-based drilling fluids.
*Advantages: Effective in a pH range of 2.0 to 12.5, Miscible in water, Effective in small concentrations. |
