BARACOR 700, a blend of phosphonates and alkyl phosphates, is specifically designed to prevent oxygen corrosion in water-based drilling fluids, in mist or foam drilling applications, and in aerated drilling fluids.
It also effectively mitigates hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide corrosion.
*Applications/Functions: Provide corrosion protection for air, foam, or mist drilling, Protect drillpipe, casing, and stainless steel tubing, Prevent oxygen pitting.
*Advantages: Can be added through a mud hopper or through a chemical barrel, Does not affect drilling fluid rheological properties, Can be used in fresh or brine water. |
