BARACOR 450 inhibitor is a thiocyanate based inorganic compound used for corrosion protection in solids-free brine packer fluids.
It forms a protective coating on metal surfaces under static conditions and reduces corrosion rates in heavy brines.
*Applications/Functions: BARACOR 450 provides corrosion protection in solids-free zinc bromide packer fluids.
*Advantages: Completely soluble in brines such as calcium bromide (CaBr2)/zinc bromide(ZnBr2)brine blends, Stable at temperatures up to 450'F(232'C), BARACOR 450 is ideal for use in solids-free packer fluids used in deep, hot wells. |
