BARACOR 129, a blend of inorganic zinc and sulfite compounds, can be used to eliminate oxygen and hydrogen sulfide corrosion.
Sulfide is permanently removed from the system as a zinc precipitate.
*Applications/Functions: BARACOR 129 can be used to treat out oxygen and hydrogen sulfide in drilling fluids.
*Advantages: Does not affect mud properties, Readily reacts with hydrogen sulfide and oxygen, Soluble in all fresh water drilling fluids, Protects against pitting type corrosion when used in conjunction with STABILITE , a scale inhibitor. |
