BARACARB, sized-calcium carbonate, is available in six grades: 5, 25, 50, 150, 600, 2300.
*Applications/Functions - BARACARB 5, 25, and 50 can be used to:
- Increase the density of water-based and oil-based muds, Increase the density of brine fluids, Bridge for fluid loss control.
BARACARB 50, 150, 600, and 2300 can be used as bridging agents for:
- Lost circulation problems, Squeeze mixes.
*Advantages: Fully soluble in 15% HCI solution (1 gal of HCI dissolves 1.84 lb of BARACARB), Provides effective bridging. |
