AKTAFLO-E, oxyethylated alkyl phenol, can be used as an emulsifier and wetting agent in water-based drilling fluids.
*Applications/Functions:
- Emulsify oil in water
- Prepare solids-free, low-solids brine, or saltwater emulsion drilling fluids
- Disperse and emulsify lubricants such as EP MUDLUBE in drilling fluids
- Water-wet oil-soluble resins in workover and completion fluids
*Advantages: Compatible with most water-based drilling fluids, Emulsifies crude oils, mineral oils, or kerosene into the water phase. |
