R-Flam 9M is a masterbatch containing 50% active ingredient made up of Magnesium Hydroxide. R-Flam 9M is a halogen free, non toxic, environmentally friendly flame retardant suitable for a wide range of applications.
The flame retarding mechanism of R-Flam 9M produces a heat resistant covering layer of carbonized products and Magnesium oxide on the substrate which inhibits further combustion thus reducing smoke density.
R-Flam 9M is especially recommended where low smoke emission and high thermal stability is required.
