Silane Coupling Agent KH-550
KH-550 silane equates the products: Silqudst-1100TM (CK Witco, U.S.), KBM-903 (Japan). It is an alkaline and used a broad range of applications. The product can react with a wide array of thermostet, thermoplastic and elastomeric materials such as, polyolefin, polysulfide, polyurethane, PVB, furan, silicone, melamine, urea formaldehyde, pherolics, polyurethane, polyester, epoxy resins, PBT, phenolics, polypropne, polycarbonates, etc.
* Application:
-Improves physical and electrical properties of reinforcement material, e.g. flexure strength, tensile strength in mineral-filled phenolics, polyester, epoxy, PBT, ployamide, carbonates tc., and enhances the dispersion and wettability of filler.
-Used in polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile adhesion and sealant compositions as an excellent adhesion promoter, as well as in polyurethane, epoxy, acrylic emulsion coating, and enhances the dispersion of pigment and improves the adhesion to glass, aluminum, iron etc.
-Enhances the adhesion between resin & sand, and the strength and wet resistance of the mold in process of shell mold.
-Improves abrasion resistance and water resistance, and adhesion strength of phenolic adhesive in the process of making silica steel.
