FD-2097 is a pulverized phenolic resin of the novolac type.
This high molecular weight resin was specifically designed to provide good wear resistance in friction application.
It evidences minimum out-gassing characteristics in hot molding.
FD-2097 finds extensive use in brake block applications as well as in pads, linings, and off-road applications. |
