BLACK PEARLS 490 is the highest structure regular color pigment black commonly used in aqueous dispersions.
* Printing Inks: BLACK PEARLS 490 is a high structure general purpose pelleted pigment black suitable for a broad field of liquid ink applications including aqueous newspaper printing inks. It provides good intensity with excellent dispersibility in water based inks.
* Other Applications: This product is commonly used as an all purpose pigment in General Dispersions. The dispersibility of BLACK PEARLS 490 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It is the least difficult to disperse pigment compared to other products in the regular color range. BLACK PEARLS 490 is a pelleted pigment black with a typical bulk density of 21 lbs/ft3 that can be bulk handled. It is also available in an easier to disperse powdered form as MONARCH 490. |
