BLACK PEARLS 430 is an all purpose regular color pigment black with low structure, allowing for lower viscosity and/or higher pigment loadings in a variety of applications.
* Printing Inks: BLACK PEARLS 430 is a low structure general-purpose pelleted pigment black that is broadly applicable in a variety of inks, including liquid as well as lithographic inks. It provides good viscosity and flow properties.
* Plastics: BLACK PEARLS 430 is a low structure carbon black that imparts low viscosity and high loadability while providing good masterbatch dilutability. This carbon black offers a good balance between cost and performance for film applications requiring medium to high opacity and weatherability BLACK PEARLS 430 can also be used for utility pipe.
* Other Applications: This product is commonly used in Building Products Applications and in Dispersions for both Leather and Textile Colorants. The dispersibility of BLACK PEARLS 430 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It is more difficult to disperse compared to products with higher structure in the regular color range.
BLACK PEARLS 430 is a pelleted pigment black with a typical bulk density of 29 lbs/ft 3 that can be bulk handled. BLACK PEARLS 430 is also available in an easier to disperse pellet as BLACK PEARLS 450 as well as in powdered form as MONARCH 430. |
