BLACK PEARLS 160 is a general purpose low color pigment black suitable for a broad range of tinting applications. Easy to disperse, this economical pigment black can allow higher loadings in most systems.
* Printing Inks: Medium structure general-purpose pigment black that is broadly applicable in a variety of inks. BLACK PEARLS 160 offers very blue undertone with good dispersion properties.
* Plastics: BLACK PEARLS 160 is a cost effective opacifying agent for film applications requiring low to medium weatherability. BLACK PEARLS 160 is also recommended for smooth surface utility pipe.
* Other Applications: This product is commonly used as a supplementary carbon source for graphitized carbon products, such as carbon brushes.
The dispersibility of BLACK PEARLS 160 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. Most low color pigment blacks exhibit the same ease of dispersion because of their relatively large particle size.
