Wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous, solvent-based and solvent-free coatings and pigment concentrates.
It prevents flocculation of the pigments and therefore stabilizes the hue and color strength of the paints.
Flooding and floating in pigment mixtures is reduced and storage stability of the system is increased.
Pigment wetting and gloss are improved, millbase viscosity is reduced.
Disperbyk-185 is solvent-free and is especially suitable for the production of alkylphenolethoxylate- and solvent-free universal tinters which are used in aqueous, solvent-based and solvent-free architectural coatings.
Disperbyk-185 also prevents flooding/floating in PVC-plastisols for coil-coating applications. |
