| Solution of a High molecular weight block copolymer with pigment affinic groups |

Wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous, solvent-based and solvent-free coatings and for glycol-based universal tinters.
It prevents flocculation of the pigments and therefore stabilizes the hue and color strength of the paints and concentrates.
Flooding and floating in pigment mixtures is reduced and storage stability of the system is increased.
Pigment wetting and gloss are improved, millbase viscosity is reduced.
Disperbyk-183 is especially suitable for the production of alpkylphenolethoxylate-free universal tinters which are used in aqueous emulsion paints and solvent-based architectural coatings. |
