Therm-Chek SP 340 Stabilizer is a Calcium-Zinc based stabilizer designed for use as a powder booster for calendered and extruded flexible PVC.
As a co-stabilizer, Therm-Chek¢ç SP 340 will allow flexible PVC to be processed using a lower level of liquid stabilizer. Because of its low cost, Therm-Chek SP 340 can be an effective way to reduce total formulation costs by partially replacing liquid stabilizers.
Therm-Chek SP 340 is more lubricating than liquid stabilizers.
Consequently, a reduction in stearic acid equal to 15 percent of the total amount of Therm-Chek SP 340 added will maintain external lubrication if desired. |
