Phenagon PDI is an easy to handle solution of the popular fungicide, lodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (IPBC) in a proprietary mixture of the proven antimicrobial, DMDM Hydantoin in Phenoxyethanol.
Phenoxyethanol is generally considered to be a safe solvent with antimicrobial properties of its own.
Phenagon PDI is intended for use as a cosmetic preservative.
It offers outstanding protection against yeasts, molds and bacteria.
All of its components are among the safest preservatives used in cosmetic products.
Being a liquid, PHENAGON PDI is much easier to incorporate into cosmetic products than is the traditional high melting, insoluble powdered form of IPBC.
In addition, the Phenoxyethanol carrier acts with other preservatives to enhance overall protection. |
