Mackstat SHG is a 50% active aqusous solution of sodium hydroxymethylglycinate.
It is a very effective, easy to handle, broad spectrum antimicrobial for cosmetic and personal care products.
Due to its high water solubility, Mackstat SHG is compatible with typical cosmetic formulations and elevated temperatures are not required for its incorporation.
It is active over a wide range of pH and temperature conditions.
Mackstat SHG has a very low level of free formaldehyde in it and does not represent and exposure problem whne handling it.
