Dow Corning Cleaner and Surface Prep Solvent is a volatile methylsiloxane (VMS) fluid developed specifically for use as a cleaning agent and carrier.
Dow Corning Cleaner and Surface Prep Solvent can help meet environmental regulations in industrial operations.
Typical applications include cleaning plastics, fiberglass and components, pre-cleaning surfaces prior to painting, sealing and bonding, degreasing bearings, nuts, bolts, chains and conveyor belts, and removing silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives (labels).
Dow Corning Cleaner and Surface Prep Solvent complements other Dow Corning® brand products, functioning to:
- Prep surfaces prior to sealant applications
- Clean mixing and dispensing equipment, including lines and heads
- Remove silicone-based greases, oils, mold release agents, and protectants
