Dow Corning 3037 intermediate |
|
Reactive silicone intermediate for coil coatings, appliance finishes and other finishes where improved heat or weathering resistance is needed. Typically reacted with saturated polyesters or oil-free alkyds to form a silicone polyester copolymer. Dow Corning 3037 Intermediate is a methoxy-functional, low-molecularweight silicone resin. It chemically reacts with organic systems containing active hydroxyl. Typically reacted with saturated polyesters or oil-free alkyds to form a silicone polyester copolymer. These copolymers are generally used in coil coatings and in appliance and high-temperature finishes. |
