Similar to Dow Corning 805 Resin.
Decorative finishes based on DOW CORNING 808 Resin are recommended for use on space heaters, incinerators, clothes driers, stoves and other appliances requiring excellent colour and gloss retention up to a temperature of 540'C.
Protective coatings formulated with DOW CORNING 808 Resin have excellent weather resistance and can be used on outdoor signs, motor frames, air conditioning units and other such equipment that can be baked at elevated temperatures.
Aluminium paints based on DOW CORNING 808 Resin are serviceable up to 650'C.
For improved hardness blends of DOW CORNING 808 Resin with DOW CORNING 840 Resin are recommended.
DOW CORNING 808 Resin can also be used to formulate heat resistant aluminium protective coatings, Note: for superior leafing properties, consider DOW CORNING 805 Resin. |
