BYK-LP W 6236 is used in unsaturated polyester resins, which are modified with paraffin wax type additives.
It prevents the separation of paraffin wax type additives in unsaturated polyester resins, without detrimentally influencing their effect upon styrene monomer emission.
In practical use, the best combination for non thixotropic unsaturated polyester resins has proven to be 1% BYK-S 740 as emission reducer with 0.2% BYK-LP W 6236 as stabiliser. |
