Mackam BC-39 is an acqueous solution of Cocoyl Monoethanolamide in Cocamidopropyl Betaine that provides the formulator the abillity to cold mix this very effective, otherwise solid, alkanolamide.
This product affords the convenience and performance of Cocamide DEA without the incorporation of diethanolamine (DEA) to your formula.
Because COcoyl Monoethanolamide has a melt point of 60*C, formulations must normally be heated to ensure solubilization. Use of Mackam BC-39 obviates this requirement.
