Mackam 2LSF is a mild amphoteric surfactant with appliations in both personal care and industrial cleaners.
Due to its excellent coupling properties in personal care products, it is used to couple conditioning agents in shampoos.
It's ability to couple non-ionic surfactants into high levels of electrolyte make it very useful in industrial cleaners.
Mackam 2LSF is suggested for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems.
It is also suitable for particularly sensitive cosmetic formulations where a lauric derivative is desired.
