Inolex manufactures complex esters derived from the co-condensation of polyfunctional acids and polyfunctional alcohols.
The polymers are "capped" with either a monofunctional acid or alcohol which eliminates residual acidity and/or hydroxyl content.
These products are polymeric in nature, and display the characteristic properties of polymers in general, while maintaining the advantages of esters such as excellent lubricity, thermal stability, pour points, and VI's.
Also, they are shear stable and fully biodegradable even at the higher end of the viscosity range.
