The Inolex line of diesters is made via the esterification of a monofunctional alcohol with adipic acid.
The dibasic esters possess good lubricity and lower pour points than the simple esters of equivalent viscosity.
Additionally, they have high VI's, good thermal stability, and are completely biodegradable.
