Acrylic additive to improve levelling and to increase gloss.
The additive provides "long wave" levelling performance and prevents craters.
It provides only slight reduction in surface tension and exhibits no negative influence on recoatability and intercoat adhesion.
BYK-359 is mainly used as a levelling and anti-cratering additive in industrial coatings and coil coatings.
Additionally it acts as a defoaming and air release agent.
It is the solvent-free version of BYK-357 and is used where a solvent-free additive is requested or where a requirement for a special solvent exists. |
