The Inolex line of polyoxyalkylene esters is derived from the condensation of a polyalkylene glycol with a medium to long chain fatty acid.
The presence of ether linkages in these molecules increases their polarity which in turn makes them more compatible with polar components in the lubricant system and improves emulsifiability.
They also can be used as compatabilizers for systems containing non-polar and polar components.
