Non-ionic, 60% active emulsion based on medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane.
DOW CORNING 346 Emulsion has been specially formulated for use as a release agent/lubricant either "as received" or prediluted with water.
Its formulation, stability and efficiency lead to use in a wide variety of applications, may of which are commercial.
*These include:
- Mould release of: Rubber or plastic parts (stoppers, screw tops, bungs, etc.)
- Lubrication of: Extruded rubber parts
conveyor belts
- Textile lubricant: - Yarn manufacture, - Sewing thread lubrication, - Hosiery manufacture, - Sewing needle lubrication, - Glass fabric exhaust filters.
As an ingredient in polishes, DOW CORNING 346 Emulsion has been used in both car and furniture polish formulations, as well as on its own in diluted form for all-purpose polishes.
The medium viscosity of DOW CORNING 346 Emulsion provides good gloss with minimum smear.
It is compatible with most other silicone emulsions if blending is desired. |
